2.0 to 3.0 - Landing Page/Blog DNS Settings

Connecting your blog domain to your replacement landing page.

The legacy CountingWorks platform permanently shuts down October 31. We’re moving your account to CountingWorks PRO 3.0.

This is for people moving blog landing pages from our legacy platforms to our 3.0 platform. If you are looking for instructions for a full website, please follow the instructions here.

Our team will migrate all your data into the new platform and prepare your landing page for activation. You do not need to move the data yourself.

The remaining step is connecting your blog domain to your replacement landing page. Schedule a time with our team below, or forward the instructions to your IT department. Please complete activation by October 28 to avoid downtime.

Instructions for your IT department

Confirm with our team that the replacement landing page is ready before making these changes:

  1. Update the BLOG @ A record to 13.57.77.193. (Do not edit your domain.com A record, only your blog.domain.com record)
  2. Remove the existing www CNAME, if present, and set the www A record to 13.57.77.193.
  3. Add the following email records. If any already exist, have our team review them before replacing them.
Type Host / Name Value / Target
CNAME s1._domainkey s1.domainkey.u24158808.wl059.sendgrid.net
CNAME s2._domainkey s2.domainkey.u24158808.wl059.sendgrid.net
TXT _dmarc v=DMARC1; p=none;
CNAME emails u24158808.wl059.sendgrid.net
CNAME 24158808 sendgrid.net

If your IT department completes the updates, let our team know so we can verify activation.

If you need assistance with any of this, please book an appointment with our Migration Team.
