Unable to Download Files in Chrome (Windows)
If you are having difficulty downloading files from the portal or from any website in general through Chrome, please follow the trouble shooting steps below:
- Click on the red 'X'
- It's located in the address bar.
If that common issue is not the cause of the inability to download, it may be a localized issue that affects all of your browsers. If that is the case, please start off by running a search on your computer for the "Command Prompt". When you find the app, make sure to "Run As Administrator".
When the command prompt is running, please either type in or copy and paste in the following order:
chkdsk c:
When the scan has finished running, type in or copy and paste in the following command:
sfc /scannow
Once the corrupt files have been repaired. You should be able to start downloading files again from any of your browsers. You can then exit the command prompt by either typing "exit" as a command or clicking on the 'x' in the top right-hand of the window application.
