Using the MAX Growth and Prospecting Agent
Learn how to activate and configure the Growth and Prospecting Agent to automatically find prospects that match your target audience.
The Growth and Prospecting Agent helps automate lead generation by finding qualified prospects that match your ideal customer profile. Once configured, MAX can identify new opportunities, enrich prospect data, generate personalized outreach, and automatically enroll prospects into playbook sequences. This guide walks through the setup process and shows how to review, engage, and track prospects found by the agent.
1. Open MAX Agents
From your dashboard, click MAX Agents in the left-hand navigation menu. This is where you can access and manage the Growth and Prospecting Agent.
2. Activate the Growth and Prospecting Agent
If this is your first time using the agent, you may see a button that says Get Growth and Prospecting Agent.
Click that button to open the subscription pop-up. From there, select the plan that matches how many prospects you want MAX to find each month.
3. Go to Settings
After selecting your plan, go to Settings.
If this is your first time setting up the agent, the Growth and Prospecting Agent may be disabled. Turn it on to activate the feature.
4. Create Your First Target Profile
Next, create a profile so MAX knows who you want to target.
Click New Profile and begin entering details about your ideal prospect, such as:
- Profile name
- Target audience or industry
- SIC or NAICS codes
- Keywords
- Target roles
- Revenue range
- Location
- Related playbook
For example, if you want to target dentists, you could create a profile named Dentists, select Medical Practice as the broader audience, and use Dentist as a keyword.
5. Assign Prospect Volume
Choose how many prospects you want MAX to find for that profile.
You can create multiple profiles and assign a different number of prospects to each one based on your monthly plan limit.
6. Connect a Playbook
Select the playbook you want associated with the profile.
When a playbook is connected, new prospects can automatically be added into that follow-up sequence. This allows MAX to manage outreach without requiring you to manually handle every step.
7. Save the Profile
Once everything looks correct, click Save.
After a short period of time, new prospects will begin appearing in ClientHub.
8. Review New Prospects in ClientHub
Go to ClientHub to view your new prospects.
You will see them in your activity feed and in the Active Prospects list. Each prospect will include a MAX match rating, such as High or Medium. Low-quality matches are automatically filtered out.
9. Open a Prospect Profile
Click into a prospect profile to review more details.
Inside the profile, you will see MAX’s analysis explaining why the prospect may be a strong fit. You will also see available contact details, such as:
- Name
- Phone number
- Website
- Other available business information
10. Choose Your Outreach Option
From the prospect profile, you have two main options.
You can manually reach out, which allows MAX to generate a customized email that you can review and send.
Or, if a playbook is connected, the prospect can be automatically added to that playbook sequence for follow-up.
11. Track Performance
To review performance, go back to MAX Agents, open Settings, and click Analytics.
There, you can track:
- Total prospects
- Active campaigns
- Leads found by MAX
- Prospect progress within playbook sequences
12. Use the Agent to Manage Growth
Once everything is set up, the Growth and Prospecting Agent helps find qualified prospects, organize their information, generate personalized outreach emails, and support automated follow-up through playbooks.
