Why am I tested on subjects that I do not use in my tax practice?

Our courses are designed to appeal to a wide range of tax practitioners, as well as meet the requirements outlined by governing bodies for continuing education. A practitioner should have a general knowledge of a wide array of subjects even if it is not commonly used.
