# Adding or removing web pages on your website

## Adding a new page to your website on CountingWorks PRO 3.0 Portal is quick and easy. You can choose from our wide range of pre-written pages or start from a blank page.

Adding a new page to your website on CountingWorks PRO 3.0 Portal is quick and easy. You can choose from our wide range of *pre-written pages* or start from a *blank page*. 

**Services Pages & Miscellaneous Pages**

We offer a variety of **Services pages** that cover common accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and financial services. Additionally, we have **Miscellaneous Pages** that are related to your business and designations, including industry-specific content, pre-written About pages for different specializations, and commonly-used FAQ content.

To add the pages to your website:

1. Go to the main dashboard of your website editor.
2. Under the Settings panel, click on the "Services" tab or "Miscellaneous Pages" tab.
3. Check the box next to the page(s) you want to add.
4. Click the “Import Services” or “Import Miscellaneous Pages” orange button at the end of the list.
5. Review the newly added page(s) in the edit mode. The new pages will appear at the end of your page list.
6. Once you're satisfied, click "Save & Publish" to make the page(s) available on your website.

To provide access to the new pages, you can link to them through any button on your website or add them directly to your [main menu navigation](https://help.countingworkspro.com/customizing-your-website-main-menu-navigation?hsLang=en).

**Creating a Blank Page** is also straightforward:

1. In the main dashboard of your website editor, click on the "Create new page" link on the side panel.
2. Fill out the required information, including the name and title of the page. 
     1. *Name*: what you want the page to be called in your dashboard and your page list
     2. *Title*: what the page will actually be called on the live site and in the results on search engines
     3. Add to menus option: this will automatically add the new page as a main menu item into both your Header Menu and Footer Menu. Note that you should not check this if you want the page to be listed under a specific dropdown menu instead.
3. Click "Save" to create the page as a draft. The new page will appear at the end of your page list.
4. Edit and publish the page when it's ready.

 

**Duplicating an Existing Page**

Sometimes you want to create a new page that has a similar layout with an existing page, such as a team member’s profile or a services page. Luckily, duplicating a page is easy with CountingWorks PRO 3.0 Portal: 

1. Hover over the page you want to duplicate in your website's main dashboard.
2. Click on the "Duplicate" icon that appears in the top right corner.
3. The duplicated page will be created as a draft at the end of your page list.
4. Edit and publish the new page once it's ready.

**Note:** Remember to change all the info under Page Settings to reflect the content of the new page–these details are copied from the original page and won’t be automatically updated.

 

**Deleting a Page**

Removing a page from your site is easy and simple. You have two options: 

- *Unpublish the page:* go to the page editor and choose “Save as Draft” on the top right corner. This removes the page from your website directory and search engine listings, but the page is still available whenever you want it back.
- *Delete the page permanently:* in your website’s main dashboard, hover your cursor over the page in question and click on the “Delete” icon that appears on the top right corner. **This action cannot be undone.**

Note: the Blog page and Blog Content page cannot be permanently deleted. You can only unpublish them if they are not in use.
